At Qatari Diar, we look to capture the hearts and imaginations of people through our unique developments. As a sustainable development company, we create landmark projects around the world on a grand scale that are always developed with local traditions and cultures in mind.

Qatar and Oman have always maintained a robust relationship of brotherhood for several decades. These ties have strengthened over the years through continuous support for each other in various areas to include but not limited to Political, Economic and Cultural sectors.

In 2014, the Qatari Government decided to promote investment in the tourism sector of Oman and therefore entered into an agreement with the Omani Ministry of Tourism to develop ‘Ras Al Hadd’ project. This led to the establishment of Qatari Diar Ras Al Hadd Development Company (QDRH) – a joint venture between Qatari Diar (QD) and Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran).

Located on the East coast of the country facing the Arabian sea, the area of Ras Al Hadd is blessed with a beautiful and natural geographical landscape. The decision to develop this land into a potential touristic destination aligns with the country’s national priorities as mentioned in the Oman Vision 2040. As part of this project, QDRH will develop and provide a five-star hotel, cluster of branded villas and wildlife research center along with all necessary supporting facilities and infrastructure. This joint effort involving real estate and investment opportunities would reinforce the relationship between both countries while also mutually benefitting and serving common interests.

Qatari Diar takes full pride in being a part of this extensive plan that contributes to the overall development of the nation. Although Ras Al Hadd project is the basis of establishment of QDRH and the Company’s first project in Oman, it certainly will not be the last as we will continue to explore opportunities and engage in more development projects throughout the majestic lands of the Sultanate.
